The last 8 days or so in Vietnamese football have been pretty busy……
Van Quyet sees red as Ha Noi T&T prop up the table.

Nguyễn Văn Quyết (10) and the ref
In search of their first win of the season, T&T travelled to Nha Trang to take on Sanna Khnah Hoa. In a mediocre performance last season’s runners-up though fell to their third defeat in four thanks to a goal from Phan Viết Đàn (12′) . The game will be remembered for Ha Noi T&T’s Van Quyet’s red card in stoppage time. Having waved away a clear shout for a T&T penalty the Hanoi players charged after the official and Van Quyet stumbled/pushed the referee in the back who then took a tumble. The National team striker has subsequently been banned for 5 games and fined 15,000,000 VND ($700)
Ha Noi FC say Farewell to the Capital
Ha Noi FC waved goodbye to the capital and Hang Day Stadium when they comfortably overcame league leaders, Da Nang FC, last Sunday 3-0. In front of a decent crowd of 4,000 fans the VLeague 2 champions sealed the three points with goals from Trịnh Duy Long (62′), Trương Công Thảo (77′) & Jean Eudes Maurice (92′).
As of round 5 (10th April) Ha Noi FC will be known as Sai Gon FC, playing out of the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
Hải Phòng retained their 100% record with a 1-0 at QNK Quảng Nam, while SLNA surprised league champions, Becamex Bình Dương , with a 2-1 in Thủ Dầu Một.
The managerial merry-go-round begins in the North

Chu Đình Nghiêm has been named interim manger of struggling Ha Noi T&T
Ha Noi T&T with just 1 point from 4 matches parted ways with interim coach, Pham Minh Duc and replaced him with Chu Dinh Nghiem, on another interim basis. Pham Minh Duc will return to his role as T&T U21 coach.

Phan Thanh Hùng has temporarily taken the reigns at Quang Ninh
Thanh Quang Ninh’s, Pham Nhu Thuan, also resigned after securing 4 points from four game. He is replaced by current Director of Football and ex-T&T coach Phan Thanh Hùng , on an interim basis. In what looks like a really poor lie, Thanh Hung was reported to have left T&T by mutual consent due to health reasons, now seems to be set to managed one of his former clubs closest rivals. Just hours after it was announced he was leaving T&T rumours began circulating he had in fact fell out with club owner Nguyễn Quốc Hội.
