Hà Nội FC sealed a 2-1 win at SLNA to maintain their unbeaten start to the league and in the process set a new league record of 10 games unbeaten at the start of a season.
Đoàn Văn Hậu headed in his first of the season after just 6 minutes;the 18 year old rose well to flick on Nguyễn Văn Quyết free-kick. The visitors were only ahead for 10 minutes before Michael Olaha finished off a swift move down the right hand side to equalise.
Hanoi sealed the points and a 4th consecutive league win when Oseni latched on to a comical error from Nghe An defender Phạm Mạnh Hùng for his 12 goal in 10 league appearances.
Bình Dương 5-1 Sài Gòn
Nguyễn Tiến Linh struck four times as Bình Dương thrashed Sài Gòn. The 20 year old stiker opened the scoring after 17 minutes from Nguyễn Anh Đức’s cutback before heading home just before the break for a 2-0 lead. He completed his hat-trick when finishing low into the corner from 12 yards after good work on the right by Tô Văn Vũ. Five minutes later Lê Hoàng Thiên gave struggling Saigon a glimmer of hope, powerfully heading beyond Tấn Trường for his 5th goal of the season.
Saigon keeper, Phạm Văn Phong, saved Nguyễn Anh Đức’s penalty, but couldn’t stop his side conceding two more in the final 8 minutes. Tiến Linh grabbed his 4th before more fine work from Tô Văn Vũ assisted Anh Đức to complete the rout.
The result means Bình Dương sit in third spot in V.League 1 while Saigon remain in 13th and winless in 5.

Cần Thơ 0-0 Đà Nẵng
Cần Thơ extended their unbeaten league run to 8 with a goalless draw at home to Đà Nẵng.
Patiyo thought he’d sent Cần Thơ towards all three points but his goal was ruled out in the 2nd half when his was caught marginally offside, while Nguyễn Tăng Tuấn should have scored but somehow guided his header beyond Danang keeper Lê Văn Hưng and the post.
Sanna Khánh Hòa 2 – 2 Nam Định
Khánh Hòa’s winless run stretched to 5 matches after they were held 2-2 at home by bottom club Nam Định.
Henry Shackiel put the visitors ahead early on with a fine finish but the seasiders hit back just before the break, Quốc Chí equalising with a sublime 25 yard free kick in to the top corner.
Shackiel then turned provider; chesting down for Lê Sỹ Minh to curl home from 18 yards. French centre back, Zarour Chaher, denied the visitors their 2nd league win with a powerful header 20 minutes from time.
Thanh Hóa 0 – 1 Hoàng Anh Gia Lai
HAGL inflicted the second defeat in a row on Thanh Hóa and in the process move themselves up to 4th spot in the V.League, their highest placing of the season. Nguyễn Công Phượng got the only goal of the game with a wonderful effort from 25 yards that flew past his U23 team mate in the Thanh Hoa goal, Bùi Tiến Dũng. Brazilian striker, Rimario, twice came close to doubling the lead, firstly when his curling low effort came back of the post and then in the second half being denied by a fine Tiến Dũng save. Edward Ofere had a great opportunity to snatch a point in injury but placed his header narrowly wide.

Hải Phòng 0 – 1 Than Quảng Ninh
Quảng Ninh snatched all three points in the north east derby with a last gasp winner. Mac Hong Quan’s inswinging free kick seemed to have defied everyone as it made its way into the back if the net. Joel celebrated getting a touch but it officially goes down as a Văn Lợi injury time own goal.
TP.Hồ Chí Minh 0 – 0 Quảng Nam
HCMC and league champions Quảng Nam played out a goalless draw in Saigon. Home keeper, Nguyễn Sơn Hải, had a fine debut, saving well from Suleiman and Phan Thanh Hưng in the second half.
